3P Rainus

Art. No. 2000700

Rainwater Filter for downpipes where the cleaned rainwater flows on down into the downpipe! Install in the lower section of the downpipe. Easy to monitor, easy to install, with secure reliable function. Simple to maintain.

Ideal for:

  • rainwater harvesting
  • soakaway systems
  • stormwater
  • balancing systems
  • silt trap replacement

What should we do with our rainwater?

We will have to ask this question of ourselves much more often in future. We will as a society all be confronted by issues such as rainwater harvesting, soakaways, higher water costs, changing groundwater levels and storm water balancing. Meeting these different rainwater issues requires universal, usable and durable products like the 3P Rainus, a new rainwater filter, installed in the down pipe. It is so easy to monitor and maintain, it cleans rainwater reliably and the normal flow direction is not altered. Water comes from above and continues to flow down the rainwater pipe. Solids are simply separated through the front opening. This unique working principle has been required by the market for a long time.

3P Rainus - Data

  1. The falling rainwater’s energy is attenuated by baffles in the upper filter housing.
  2. Rainwater is then calmed in a small sump.
  3. Water then weirs over the sump lip, and is distributed evenly across the Primary Cascade, the first cleaning step.
  4. The Primary Cascade filters out any large or coarse particles, such as leaves and moss.
  5. Below and behind the Primary Cascade is a finer Secondary Filter. This Stainless Steel mesh ensures all particles coarser than 550 microns are removed.
  6. Fine and coarse particles are ejected from the front of the filter.
  7. Cleaned rainwater flows out of the filter outlet, to a storage tank, or to the point (s) of use or disposal system.
